Here are three non-alcoholic drink recipes fit for every time of day and occasion. As always, we’re here to prove that you don’t need expensive supplements or superfoods to kickstart a new lifestyle. Instead, a healthy dose of freshly-squeezed lemons and clean ingredients will do just fine!
Strawberry Lemonade Smoothie:
Wake up and treat yourself to a serving of fresh fruit! This delicious smoothie is tangy, creamy and sweet all at once. We guarantee you won’t miss your daily bowl of cereal.
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until desired consistency is achieved. Add more water or frozen strawberries to taste.
Here’s a reinvention of an old classic for nights out and weekend festivities with friends. In this drink, kombucha (a fermented probiotic-rich tea) replaces the rum found in traditional mojitos.
Muddle the mint leaves and Lighthouse Lemonade in a glass. Add the ice, pour in the kombucha and stir. Garnish with additional mint leaves and fresh lime wedges.
Pomegranate Lemon Hot Tea:
When it’s time to wind down, nothing hits the spot like a mug of warm tea. Make this cleansing drink with fresh pomegranate and grated ginger to soothe the stomach and up your daily vitamin C intake.
Add the green tea bags, boiling water, Lighthouse Lemonade, ginger, pomegranate seeds and honey to a large teapot. Cover and let tea steep for 5 minutes before enjoying in mugs.
